Azerbaijan Film Critics Guild Award

The Azerbaijan Guild of Film Critics was established in 2025 at the initiative of Azerbaijani film critics. The goals of the Guild are to promote local cinema at international festivals and to increase personnel training in this field.

The first project of the Guild is to establish the Azerbaijan Guild of Film Critics Award and present the first awards.

Best cinematography: “Meeting with the Sama (the Sky)” – Shahmar Safaroghlu
Best art direction: “Taghiyev. Oil” – Sabuhi Atababayev, Vusal Rahim
Best music score: “The Lost Diary” – Sadagat Karimova
Best actor: “The Monologue of a Lonely Man” – Mahir Darvish / “The Door” – Nurlan Rustamov
Best actress: “Apathy” – Shahla Aligizi
Special Award: The documentary-fiction film "The Return of the Cinema Mechanic" was awarded a "special award".
