Abasagha Imanov (Abbasagha Imanov) was born in Baku. He studied at the Faculty of Cultural Education of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1973). From 1966 until the end of his life, he worked on Azerbaijani television. He was awarded the "Taraggi" (Progress) medal (2012). Abasagha Imanov died in 2020.
