Abdulla Ibrahimov

Abdulla Ibrahimov was born in the village of Zohrabkand, Shabran. He studied at the All-Union Law Institute (1948). He worked in various positions in the system of the State Security Committee of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (1944–1958). He served as deputy chief of the Baku city militia department, prosecutor of Baku city (1958–1960), deputy minister of internal affairs (1960–1962), chairman of the Supreme Court of the Azerbaijan SSR (1962-1980), head of the Legal Department of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Azerbaijan Republic (1980-1991). After retirement, he was engaged in pedagogical activities in higher education institutions. Honored lawyer Abdulla Ibrahimov died in 2003.
