Adil Ismayilov was born in Baku. He studied at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts. Since 1959, he began working at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio, and was the second director of many films. He starred in the films “Blue Route” (1968, director Jardem Baytenov / Kazakhstan), “Yermak” (1996, directors Vladimir Krasnopolsky, Valery Uskov / Russia-Germany) made by foreign film producers. Honored Worker of Culture (2008) Adil Ismayilov died in 2011.
