Adishirin Baghirov

Adishirin Baghirov was born in the village of Chakhirly, Masalli district. He was admitted to the Cultural and Educational Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1982), and from the third year he transferred to the acting faculty. He worked as a presenter for a long time in the Touring Concert Union by appointment. After the Touring Concert Union was closed, he worked at the Youth Theater for four years. In 1988, he appeared on the stage of the Heydar Aliyev Palace with a three-year-old child at the “Baku Autumn-88” competition. After this performance, AzTV invited him as a presenter for children's programs. He was the host of the programs “Lay-lay”, “Kim yatmish, kim oyag”, “Sehirli guzgu”. He became known for the image of “Sim-sim Lele” from the latter program. Currently, he has started working on Azerbaijani television again.
