Azer Dadashov

Azer Dadashov was born in Baku. He studied at the Composition Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Conservatory (1971, class of Gara Garayev).
He composed 14 symphonies, 20 cantatas and odes, the children's opera "The Adventures of Little Mukun", the ballet miniature "Eastern Fresco", 3 Concertos for piano, Concertos for flute, viola, suites for chamber, wind instruments, folk instrument orchestras, numerous chamber-instrumental and choral works, music for more than 20 films, songs.
He is also the author of the National Paralympic Anthem.
He is a professor at the Baku Academy of Music named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli (2009).
Winner of the "Humay" Prize (2001), Honored Artist (2005), People's Artist (2018).
