Jahangir Aslanoghlu (Jahangir Mammadov) was born in Baku. He founded the Azerbaijan Satire and Humor Society (1997) and was its first chairman. He was the first chairman of the “Unfading Stars” Association.

He starred in the Russian-Lithuanian co-production “Freedom is a Sweet Word” (1972, directed by Vytautas Zhalavičius).

Honored Cultural Worker Jahangir Aslanoglu died in 1998.
