Ali Isa Jabbarov

Ali Isa Jabbarov (Ali Isa Jabbarov) was born in Baku.

He studied at the Faculty of Film and Television Film Directing of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1996).

He worked as a director at the “Azerbaijantelefilm” Creative Union (1994-2006), as a producer at the Buta Film film company. Together with Aynur Mustafayeva, he founded the Dervish Producer Center (2005), and together with Asif Rustamov and Fehruz Shamiyev, he founded the Azerbaijan Young Film Producers Association (AGFIA). He is a co-founder of the South Caucasus Independent Cinematographers Association. He is the director of the Dervish Producer Center (since 2005), chairman of the Azerbaijan Young Film Producers Association, publisher of the analytical film magazine “Focus” (since 2008), head of the “Focus” Creative Youth Cinema House, kinoyazar.az and kinoinfo.az projects.

Since 2009, he has been the secretary of the Azerbaijan Filmmakers Union.
