Elkhan Khanalizadeh was born in Fuzuli. He studied at Baku State University (1997-2003, bachelor's and master's degrees), and at the European Union Eastern Partnership "Culture and Creative Writing" Program (2009).

He was the editor of the "Cage" reality show and the "Number 1" competition on Azad Azerbaijan Television, and the scriptwriter and director of the "Officials, Unofficials" project (2006-2011).

The novel "The Road" has been published in Turkish, French and English and is currently on sale on international platforms.
