Erturan Najafi Gol (Darioush Najafi Gol) was born in the city of Goshachay in South Azerbaijan.
He studied at the Urmia Young Cinematographers Association (2001-2002) and the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2011-2016).
He has directed plays in the theater and acted on stage as an actor. He is also engaged in photography. His films have been awarded the main awards of various international festivals.
