Fakhraddin Manafov (Farhad Manafov) was born in Khankendi.

He studied at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1975-1980).

He worked as a cinema mechanic at the Actor's House named after Abbas Mirza Sharifzade (1971-1974), as an actor at the Tadris Theater (1976-1978) and the Yugh Theater (1989-1993).

He has been acting in films since 1977.

He was also cast in the foreign film productions “Farewell, Green Summer” (1985, directed by Elyer Ishmuhamedov / Uzbekistan) as Timur Ismayilov, “Four Days of April” (1986 / Uzbekistan) as Safibeyov, “Festival of Death” (1992, directed by Samir Habshi / France, Russia), “Drongo” (2002, directed by Zinoviy Roizman / Russia) as Sadigov, “Gemini” (2004, directed by Zinoviy Roizman / Russia) as Ruslan Khojayev, “Count Krestovsky” (2004, directed by Ramiz Fataliyev / Russia) as Burlak, “Silah” (2008, directed by Alexander Kasatkin / Russia) as the leader of a terrorist group, “Silah” (2008, directed by Alexander Kasatkin / Russia) as Saraf, “Ali and Nino” (2015, directed by Asif Kapadia / Great Britain) as Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev.

He is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (2025).

He was awarded the “Zirve” award, the TURKSOY award in the nomination “Best Theater Actor of the Turkic World” (2025), the “Shohrat” order (2025).
