Mark Kim was born in Uzbekistan. Later, he moved with his family to Moscow, and then to Baku in 2005.

He studied at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. He has been engaged in photography since his student years.

Currently, he works as an art director for a restaurant chain and a tiktoker.
