Mansum Ibrahimov

Mansum Ibrahimov was born in the village of Imamgulubeyli in Aghdam.
He studied at the Mugham Department of the Baku Music College named after Asaf Zeynalli (1982-1987), and at the Cultural and Educational Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1988-1993).
He was awarded a first-class diploma in the competition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Uzeyir Hajibeyov (1985).
He was invited to the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. Currently, he performs leading roles in most performances. Since 1993, he has been performing the role of Majnun in the opera “Leyli and Majnun”.
He is also engaged in pedagogical activities. He is a teacher at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory and the Music College operating under the Conservatory. He is a professor.
Honored Artist (1998), People's Artist (2005). He was awarded the "Shohrat" (2010), "Sharaf" (2021) orders, the "Artist" medal (2021), and the "100th Anniversary of Heydar Aliyev" jubilee medal (2024).
