Rashad Bakhtiyarov was born in Baku. He studied at the Faculty of Drama and Film Acting of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1998-2002). Since his student days, he has performed on public stages in the performances of the National Drama Theater. Since 2001, he has been employed by the theater troupe. He worked at the Baku Children's Theater. He starred in the series "Marriage by Will" (2009, directed by Vasily Serikov / Russia) by foreign film producers. He has participated in numerous commercials, and in television filming for Novruz and New Year.
