Rita Amirbayova was born in Baku. She studied at the Faculty of Drama and Film Acting of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1978). Since 1978 she has been working at the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater. She is an Honored Artist (1991).
Actress Rita Amirbayova is the mother of actor Oleg Amirbayov.
