Ruslan Sabirli was born in Sumgayit.
He studied at Sumgayit State University, then in Ukraine, project management, and acting and production in Germany.
While a student, he performed at events as a musician-arranger, host, and mentalist. He is the founder and director of the Booktreyler Festival (2016-2020) and the Cinemo Mobile Film Festival (2023).
