Safa Mehdi was born in Baku.
He studied at the Theater and Cinema Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (2007-2011).
He worked at the Baku Variety Theater, the Young Spectators Theater (2011-2013), and the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater (2014-2017). He was a program host on Region TV.
