"SERMON TO THE VOID" AT THE VENICE FILM FESTIVAL!
The feature film “Sermon to the Void” by director Hilal Baydarov, supported by the Film Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been selected for the official program of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, one of the most prestigious film events in the world. The film will be presented in the “Out of Competition – Fiction” section.
The last film in the director’s “Sermon” trilogy, “Sermon to the Void” is a co-production of Azerbaijan, Mexico and Turkey and tells the story of Shah Ismail’s journey in search of the water of life as the end of the world approaches.
It should be noted that this is Hilal Baydarov’s second film to be screened in Venice.
