“HOZU KHAN”: A FAMOUS CHARACTER COMES BACK TO THE SCREEN
The filming of the film "Hozu Khan", produced by "3I Cinema Production", continues. According to producers Islam Agha and Majid Huseynov, the director of the film "Hozu Khan", which has a budget of more than 250 thousand manats, is Ilham Yasharoglu, the scriptwriters are Vugar Huseynov and Talib Ahmadov, and the cinematographer is Orkhan Mammadov. The film's artistic design is by Atesh Azizova, the make-up is by Irada Rzayeva, and the costumes are by Parvana Mammadova.
According to the plot, the events take place in the "State of the Derabeys". The head of the state, Adalat Khan, has twin sons named Hozu and Garabugday. The father loves Hozu more because he is stronger. His brother Garabugday is jealous of this relationship and kills his father, blaming the crime on Hozu. Hozu is imprisoned, but later proves the truth, exposes his brother, and rises to the khanate.
The film stars Majid Huseynov, Agil M. Guliyev, Tarlan Nur Yashar, Samir Alasgarov, Kenan MM, Alakbar Aliyev, Khuraman Alizadeh, dancer Renka, Nadir Mammadov, Ruslan Ahiskalı and other actors.
Majid Huseynov said that this is the sixth film dedicated to the character of "Hozu" and not the last.
The 90-minute film is in the comedy genre. The film, which is rated 6+, is planned to be released on the "Park Cinema" and Cinemastercard" networks.
