"SERMON TO THE VOID" IN VENICE
he film “Sermon to the Void”, the production of which was supported by the Film Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been included in the official program of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and will be screened in the “Out of Competition – Fiction” section of the festival. The film is directed by Hilal Baydarov, and the executive producer is Orkhan Fikretoglu.
The production of the film was carried out with the financial support of the Film Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In addition, Agency also covered all necessary expenses related to Hilal Baydarov’s trip to Mexico to finalize post-production work.
The Venice Film Festival, one of the oldest and most prestigious film events in the world, is an important platform for the international promotion of Azerbaijani films and the expansion of creative exchange.
