Almaz Mustafayeva (Almaz Ahmadova) was born in Agdam. She studied at the 3-year "film acting" course at the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio.

In 1968, she worked as an assistant director at the film studio.

Since 1970, she has been an actress at the Azerbaijan State Theater for Young Spectators. Boy roles have been the majority in her theatrical biography.
