Bahram Osmanov

Bahram Osmanov was born in Ganja.

He studied at the Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1985).

In 1985, he prepared the play “The Glass Menagerie” (T. Williams) for his diploma work on the small stage of the Academic National Drama Theater. Since 1987, he has worked as a production director. He has prepared plays by invitation in many theaters. For a while, he worked as the chief director of the Young Spectator Theater (2012-2022).

Honored Artist (2007), Honored Artist of the Republic of Kalmykia (2014). Awarded the Order of Honor of the All-Russian Theater Society (2018). Awarded the Jafar Jabbarli Prize (2019).
