Bayimkhanim Valiyeva

Bayimkhanim Valiyeva (Bayimkhanim Mirzayeva) was born in Baku.
She studied at the Bulbul Secondary Specialized Music School, Khanande specialty (1998-2007, Agakhan Abdullayev's class), and at the Faculty of Solo Singing of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory (2007-2011, 2011-2013-master's degree, 2014-2017-doctoral studies).
She was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (2022) after defending her scientific work entitled "Khan Shushinsky's Performance Characteristics and His Place in Mugham Art". Since 2012, she has been working as a teacher at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory.
For the first time in 1992, she performed on Azerbaijan State Television with the song "Nargila" as a soloist of the "Banovsha" song and dance ensemble led by Afsar Javanshirov. He was awarded 1st place in the republican inter-kindergarten and inter-school competition with the song "Ananın sesi" (1994). He was a laureate of the "7-17" (1996), "Pohra-97" (1997) competitions. He was awarded the 1st degree diploma of the "Mugham-2001" Competition, the "Grand Prix" award of the Republican Mugham Competition (2002).
He is an associate professor of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory (2023).
He was awarded the "Humay" National Prize (2024).
He is an Honored Artist (2015).
