Fuad Poladov was born in Baku. He studied at the Film Actor course at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio, and at the Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1967-1972). While still a student, at the invitation of his art teacher Tofig Kazimov, he played the role of Savalan in the play “Destroyed Diaries” (Ilyas Efendiyev) produced at the Academic National Drama Theater (1969). He was an actor at the Azerbaijan State National Drama Theater (1969-1989). Since 1989, he has worked at the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater (1989-2018). During this time, he performed in performances at the “Ibrus” Theater and the National Drama Theater.
He starred in the role of Dede Gorgud in the series “Dede Gorgud Stories” (2006-2007 / Turkey) by foreign film producers, and in the role of Abdu Salih in the series “Russian Translation” (2006, directed by Alexander Chernyayev / Russia).
He is the winner of the "Apofigey" audience award (1994, 1995, 1996, 1998), "Humay" (1998), "Golden Lamp", "Golden Dervish" (2007), "Jafar Jabbarli" (2016), "Golden Fairy" (2015) in the nomination "Best Actor".
Honored Artist (1982), People's Artist (1987) Fuad Poladov died in 2018 and was buried in the "Gurd gapisi" cemetery.
Actor Fuad Poladov is the father of producer Agarahim Poladov.
