Ibrahimbey Musabeyov

Ibrahimbey Musabeyov was born in Gabala.
He studied at the Transcaucasian Teachers' Seminary (Gori Seminary, 1898-1902).
In 1902, he began teaching at the third Russian-Tatar school in the city of Sheki. In 1911, he arrived in Baku. He continued his teaching activities at the first Russian-Tatar school. He began his literary activity in 1913. He published his stories on didactics, training and upbringing in the magazine "Mektab", and his large-scale works in the form of booklets in various publishing houses. He has short stories. One of the first Azerbaijani full-length films was shot based on the motifs of the novel "In the Kingdom of Oil and Millions".
He was arrested by the Soviet government on charges of being an enemy of the people and died in exile in 1942 in the city of Karaganda, Kazakhstan.
