Nargiz Karimova

Nargiz Karimova was born in Baku.

She studied at the Bulbul Secondary Specialized Music School in the piano class (1977-1988), and at the Baku Music Academy in the vocal class (1988-1992).

She was a laureate of the Music Festival held on behalf of the Union of Composers (1988), the “Golden Share-89” Republican Competition (1989), and the “New Names” III All-Union Competition (1990, Moscow).

In 2002, she was accepted as an actor at the Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theater.

She is an Honored Artist (2012).

Singer, actress Nargiz Karimova is the daughter of theater director, actor Faig Zohrabov.
