Nasimi Mammadoghlu

Nasimi Mammadoghlu (Nasimi Aliyev) was born in Baku.
He studied at the Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1996-2000).
He began his career in 1990 as an assistant director on Azerbaijani television. He worked as a director on cultural programs on Lider television (2001-2007). He has been an employee of Public Television since 2007.
He participated in the Swiss “AVANTI” project led by Polish director Krzysztof Zanussi and became the winner of the documentary section of this project (2004-2006). He is a winner of various international festivals.
He taught at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art and the GN Children's Film School for a while (2015-2017).
He was awarded the “Teraggi” medal (2020).
