Ulviyya Konul

Ulviyya Konul (Ulviyya Karimova) was born in Baku.

She studied at the Faculty of Psychology of Baku State University (1991–1995).

She worked as an assistant director at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio, and later as a director (1992–1996). She was a director of music videos, social and commercials, events and concerts. She worked as the chief director of Azerbaijan Television (2019-2021), director of the Culture TV channel (2021-2023).

She was awarded the “Humay” award for the music video “Dashti” (2000).

She is an Honored Artist (2016).
