Vidadi Aliyev

Vidadi Aliyev was born in the village of Goychali, Agstafa region.

He studied at the Drama and Film Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1967).

He was assigned to the Irevan State Azerbaijan Drama Theater. He worked in this theater for a long time, and for some time he was the director and artistic director of the Yerevan State Azerbaijan Drama Theater (1988-2000). He staged several performances as a director. He was an actor of the Baku Children's Theater.

He was awarded the Gold Medal of the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan (2007) and the "Progress" medal (2013). Honored Artist (1978), People's Artist (2019).

Actor Vidadi Aliyev is the husband of actress Elmira Ismayilova.
Actor Vidadi Aliyev is the father of producer Ogtay Aliyev and media specialist Elchin Alibayli.
