Zemfira Abdulsamadova was born in Baku. She studied at the Theater and Film Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1978-1982).

In 1982, she was appointed to the acting troupe of the Sheki State Drama Theater. Later, she worked at the Musical Comedy Theater (1985-1989) and the Youth Theater (1989-2006). Since 2015, she has been an actress at the Young Spectators Theater.

She starred in the Turkish film “Misunderstanding” (2017, directed by Ulaş Cihan Şimşek).

She was awarded the “Best Actress” award at the “4.4 Short Plays Festival” (2022).

She is also engaged in pedagogical activities, teaching at the Art Gymnasium, which is part of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory.

Actress Zemfira Abdulsamadova is the wife of actor Adalat Abdulsamad.
