Abbas was born in Baku. He studied tourism at the Baku College of Management and Technology and the National Transport University of Ukraine. He worked as an editor at the Baku studio of NTV (Turkey), as an editor at Lider TV, as a film director at Public Television, and as a producer at the Baku Media Center. He directs and produces films, commercials, and other audiovisual works.
