Alexey Arbuzov was born in Moscow in 1908.
He studied at the Leningrad Conservatory (1922).
In 1930 he organized the “Teatr Na Ko Liesakh”. He wrote political revues for the Moscow Proletkult Theater. In 1938 he founded the Moscow Studio Theater.
Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1980) Alexey Arbuzov died in Moscow in 1986.
