Aliya Ramazanova was born in the village of Piral, Gusar district.

World War II took both her father and mother away. When she was three or four years old, she was brought from Gusar to Baku - to orphanage No. 11. At the age of 16, she came on stage and dedicated her life to the art of dancing. She was the lead soloist of the Azerbaijan State Song and Dance Ensemble.

Honored Artist Aliya Ramazanova died in 2023 and was buried in the Yasamal cemetery.
