Anar Safiyev was born in Baku.
He studied at the Faculty of Drama and Film Acting of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (1997-2001).
Since 2000, he has been working at the Azerbaijan State Youth Theater, and since 2009, at the Azerbaijan State Theater for Young Spectators.
