Arif Mirzaguliyev was born in the village of Ugur in Gusar.
He was a doctor by profession. He first studied at the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography in Moscow.
Since everyone in the family was a doctor and at the request of his father, he entered the Azerbaijan State Medical Institute and received a degree in neuropathology. He moved away from art and worked as a doctor.
Arif Mirzaguliyev died in 1990.
