Aygun Akif was born in Sumgayit.

She studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

Her first job was at the Tax Department No. 2. Later, she worked as a presenter on Dunya TV and Antenna 101 FM.

Currently, she is the host of the morning show on Araz FM.
