Bashir Safaroghlu (Bashir Safarov) was born in the village of Rustov in Guba.
After his father died early, they moved to Baku in 1931. At the age of 14, he joined the drama club of the drivers' club. He played small roles in small interludes and one-act farces. He joined the drama club of Huseynbala Zeynalov, which operated under the Ali Bayramov club, where he played the role of Gunduz in the play "Sevil" (Jafar Jabbarli) (1939). After some time, he performed at the House of Culture of Sailors. Here, the director of the Musical Comedy Theater, Niyaz Sharifov, who saw his performance in the play "The Dead", invited him to the theater. In 1941, he went to war and returned in 1942 with a contusion. His tongue was blocked and he had very poor hearing. For some time, he worked as a laborer and truck driver. Niyaz Sharifov brought the actor, who stood in front of the Musical Comedy Theater every day and looked at it with longing, back to the theater, first as a spectator, and then as one of the actors of the public scenes. It wasn't long before the love of theater created a miracle. The actor, who was very excited when he saw in his dream that he was unfit for the stage, opened his tongue and ears, and the stage miracles he created began right after that. He wrote the libretto for the musical comedy "We Need Only One Point".
He starred in the film "12 Tombs of Khoja Nasreddin" (1966, directed by Clement Mints) by Tajik film producers.
