Eldar Mansurov

Eldar Mansurov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Piano class of the Asaf Zeynalli Secondary Specialized Music School (1968-1972) and the Composition faculty of the Azerbaijan State Conservatory (1974-1979, in the class of Jovdat Hajiyev).
Among his works are the musical "Sevgilimin anası" (1990), the symphonic mugham "Mahur-hindi" (1991), Symphony No. 4 (1991), "Frescas" for chamber orchestra (1991), "Adagio" for violin and symphony orchestra (1991), "Passacaglia" for symphony orchestra (1991), Symphony No. 5 (1992), "Miniatures" for piano (1996), the rock opera "Seven Beauties", the rock ballets "Cleopatra" and "Olympus", music for theater performances - "Chelebi Khan" (1990), "Female Werewolf" (1991), "My White City" (1991), "Beloveds" (1992), "Money Madman" (1992), "Songful, Smiling Journey" (1992), "Ah, Women" (1992), He has “Evlənk təsəm” (1993), “Actor” (1994), “Keləkbaz qızlar” (1994). He is the author of more than 3000 songs.
He was engaged in pedagogical activities at the Republican Art Gymnasium and in Istanbul.
He worked as a music editor at UNTI and Lider televisions. He was the secretary of the Union of Composers of Azerbaijan (2007-2012).
