Elkhan Rza

Elkhan Rza (Elkhan Rzayev) was born in Sumgayit.

He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1996-2000).

In the 90s, he appeared on stage at the “Javid” theater led by Valeh Karimov. As a student, he participated in mass performances on the stage of the Academic Drama Theater. In his final year, he played the role of Selim bey in the play “The Vizier of the Khan of Lankaran” prepared by the course leader Vagif Ibrahimoglu. He starred in the role of the president’s assistant in the Russian-made film “Born in the USSR” (2007). He has been an actor at the Baku Municipal Theater since 2000. He is engaged in dubbing. He has hosted television programs. He won the poetry competition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Samad Vurgun (1996). He was awarded the “Best Young Actor of the Year” award by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (2006).

He is an Honored Artist (2018).

Actor Elkhan Rza is the brother of actor Toghrul Rza.
