Faig Naghiyev was born in Tovuz.
He studied law at Moscow Humanitarian University (1996-2000).
He began his career as an operator at Tovuz TV (1993-1996). After graduating, he worked for several years in the prosecutor's office (2009-2012, criminalist). He worked as a director at Sm TV (2003-2006). He became the head of Grand Production LLC (2004). He attended film classes by Rustam Ibrahimbeyov and Nikita Mikhalkov in Moscow (2014).
In 2019, he founded FS Film Company. He currently serves as the company's CEO.
