Firuza Alikhanova was born in Ordubad.
She entered the Nakhchivan Agricultural Technical School. While singing cheerful songs at the city's festive events, her performing talent attracted the attention of Samad Movlevi. Through her efforts, the student girl was invited to the Nakhchivan Theater as an actress in 1932. She first appeared on stage in 1932 in the role of Asya ("Arshin mal alan"). Her creativity is associated with the Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater. She is one of the first actresses of this theater. Her appearance on the stage became an event, and after that several more young girls connected their lives with the theater. She was the first Leylis, Aslisi, Gulchohras of the Nakhchivan theater. The actress, who worked for 45 years, left the stage in 1977 by writing a petition.
