Gorgud Jafar (Gorgud Jafarli / Gorgud Jafarov) was born in Baku.

He studied at the Republican Art Gymnasium and Rustam Ibrahimbeyov's Cinema School.

He worked as an actor at the Ibrus Theater (2008-2012). He is a winner of the 1st and 3rd All-Republican Theater Festival of Youth.

He currently lives in Turkey.
