Gulshan Guliyeva was born in Baku.
She studied at the Azim Azimzade Art School and the Higher Animation Courses in Kiev (1974-1976).
Since 1972, she has been working as a phaser-artist in the animation workshop of the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. Later, she worked as an animator-artist and production designer.
She was awarded the “Progress” medal (2024).
