Gunay Novruz was born in Sumgayit.
He studied at the Faculty of Journalism of the Azerbaijan International University (2008), the Faculty of Creativity of the Baku Slavic University (2012-2014).
He is the author of the books “Khokhan” (2009) and “30” (2015). He worked on Azerbaijan Television (2009-2012), Free Azerbaijan Television (2012-2015). Since 2021, he has been the author and host of the program “Yena efirdesan” on the Azerbaijani Radio.
