Islam Gasim (Islam Gasimov) was born in Baku.
He studied at the Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2004-2008).
He worked in the field of newspapers and radio, and later as a director at the EL regional television (2012). He worked as a screenwriter at the Cinemazadeh company (2019). He was one of the scriptwriters of the program “Felidən doğru xabər” (2020-2021, Khazar TV).
