Jabbar Aliyev was born in Nakhchivan.
e studied at the Baku Pedagogical Technical School (1921-1924) and the Baku Theater School.
He worked in the drama club of the Central Workers' Club, which was headed for a while by Abbas Mirza Sharifzade. In 1929, he was accepted as an actor into the troupe of the Academic National Drama Theater.
Honored Artist (1960) Jabbar Aliyev died in 1973.
