Jalal Mammadov (Jalal Gurbanoghlu) was born in Sumgayit.

He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art.

He has been working at the Sumgayit Musical Drama Theater since 1999.

He is also engaged in dubbing and voice-over work.

He is an Honored Artist (2016).
