Kamal Aslanov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Philology Faculty of Azerbaijan State University (1966).
He worked in the periodical press and in the advertising office of the State Chamber of Commerce. He was engaged in creativity in the script workshop of the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio (1974). His works have been staged on theater stages.
He currently lives in Toronto, Canada.
