Khanlar Jafarov (Khanlar Jafaroghlu) was born in Baku.
He studied at the Theater and Cinema Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1971).
Since 1969, he has worked as an assistant director and film director at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. Since 1988, he has been the director of the “Rakurs” Documentary Film Studio, and since 2001, the director of the “Yaddash” Documentary Film Studio.
Honored Worker of Culture (2000) Khanlar Jafarov died in 2016.
