Mahammad Aghabayov was born in the village of Katekh, Balakan region.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State Polytechnic Institute.
He worked at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio, “Azanfilm”, and the Baku Media Center.
He is currently the head of the Production Department of the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio.
